About this position
Scriptifie is looking for a Videographer who treats the camera as a point of view, not just a capture device. Someone who walks onto a location and already knows the shot — because they've already thought about what the story needs.
You'll be shooting across a wide range of contexts: corporate shoots, brand campaigns, product content, events, and lifestyle. Some days you're working with a full crew. Others it's you, a gimbal, and a brief. Both need to produce work worth watching.
You'll work closely with our Creative Directors and editors — but you'll be trusted to make frame-level decisions on your own. Judgement matters here as much as technical skill.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who brings:
- 2+ years of professional videography across commercial or branded content
- Proficiency with Sony, Canon, or RED camera systems
- Strong understanding of lighting for natural and controlled environments
- Experience with gimbal, slider, and handheld movement techniques
- Ability to self-direct in run-and-gun scenarios and work within structured productions
- Understanding of how footage will be edited — shooting for the cut, not just the frame
- A portfolio with visual range and a clear aesthetic point of view
Drone operation with a valid UAE GCAA licence is a significant bonus.
